I had almost forgotten about this necklace that I made last year.
I loved the elephant pendant from the moment that I saw it,
with all its sparkly crystal jewels
and Eastern inspired detailing.
I could just imagine him roaming through the
rain forest so I decided to use a luscious
green colour scheme.
I wanted to make it quite a jangly necklace with lots
of detail and interest so I wire wrapped on lots of
faceted glass beads in various sizes and shades of green
with a sprinkling of Swarovski crystals in a sparkly deep blue
to offset the look.
It's so nice to rediscover something that I made such a long
time ago :-)

gorgeous piece, the elephant pendant is so cute! and I love how you coordinated the rest of the beads for an eastern feel that isn't too traditional but more fresh and modern
